She was built at Baracaldo for Luis Liaño Trueba as Maria Elena. On 1922 she was bought by Mariano de la Torre and renamed Amatxu Begoñakoa. On 1929 was sold to Cementos Rezola, that changed on 1936 the original reciprocating compound machine installing a triple expansion one.
